Urodynamic tests are used to determine how well your bladder stores and releases urine and to diagnose problems in the lower urinary tract and urinary incontinence.
The tests measure nerve and muscle function, bladder pressure and urine flow rates.
These tests are recommended if you:
- Suffer from incontinence
- Feel a sudden urge to urinate
- Feel pain while urinating
- Have problems emptying your bladder completely
- Have frequent urinary tract infections
